Requirements

  • Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Fully matriculated students with a Sophomore or Junior standing
  • All Majors welcome: Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Psychology, Public Administration, Public Policy, Sociology, and Supply Chain majors preferred.
  • Curious and excited to learn.
  • Effective communicator and listener. 
  • Problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
  • The ability and the desire to learn to conduct data analysis and research.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge or interest in responsible procurement, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility are recommended.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Right to Work Requirements:
  • This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementing the sustainability program and initiatives.
  • Help build the methodology for questioning potential suppliers about ESG during the RFP process.
  • Develop a Sustainability KPI tracker to organize and store program metrics for internal and external reporting needs.
  • Research industry best practices to identify emerging trends in responsible procurement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainability framework into business functions.
