Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or related science
Able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 12-week internship cycle (May/June - August)
Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
Creative, curious, and eager to learn
3.0 or greater cumulative GPA
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands on lab experience and experience maintaining an accurate laboratory notebook.
Basic knowledge of scientific principles and techniques
Awareness of safe laboratory practices, PPE requirements, hazardous waste handling and disposal
Other Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization. Applicant must not require future sponsorship for an employment visa status .
Responsibilities
This position will allow the selected candidate to support new product development as an integrated member of the US Respiratory R&D team. They will work in close partnership with a technical mentor and support fellow team members in conducting lab experiments, developing formulations and/or providing analysis and evaluation of material and products at all stages of the development process.
