  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Lean Construction methodologies.
  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or other related program
  • Professional certifications related to BIM/VDC, such as Autodesk Professional Certification or prior knowledge of BIM software like BIMxP, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and associated tools.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

  • The Project Digital Delivery Intern/Co-Op will work as part of a Project Controls group serving clients in the New England area offering real-world experience on exciting projects.
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of Project Controls professionals or Project Controls Manager
  • Work with the Project Controls team to assist in the development and update of scope, budget, and schedule for a variety of BIM VDC
  • Generate detailed BIM models for design and construction coordination.
  • Prepare model-based drawings and details for project documentation.
  • Participate in VDC coordination meetings with internal and external teams.
  • Prepare, update and maintain site logistics planning, 4D scheduling (integrating various schedules with 4D), and 5D cost estimation (Creation of bill of materials and support of pricing and estimating efforts 5D).
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and owners. Integrate BIM models with other software and technology solutions, such as facility management tools and augmented reality.
  • Assist with construction administration and project controls support tasks such as attending meetings to take meeting minutes, update tracking logs, check and report on progress status
  • Perform other duties as needed
