Requirements

  • Must be a self-motivated and can set deadlines and implement them.
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • AK-CESCL certification or the ability to gain certification shortly after hire
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs.
  • Capable of technical writing.
  • Skills:
  • Self-motivated and eager learner, ability to grow and develop within the field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills with ability to calculate and analyze data.
  • The ability to work well with all levels of the organizations.
  • High degree of problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe project site and work environment in accordance with QAP policy, participate with Goal Zero principles.
  • Attending pre-bid meetings and bid openings.
  • Works closely with the project team supervising the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
  • Assists the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project and adapts schedules and work tasks accordingly.
  • Effectively lead the work environment to ensure safety, environmental, regulatory and production targets are met.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships to improve company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct stormwater inspections, implement Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and prepare related documentation and reporting.
