Responsibilities

  • Supporting the ongoing improvement and development of automation frameworks and tools for testing of high performance optical products;
  • Supporting a team of reliability engineers with the development of automated optical test solutions.
  • Developing Test code to support Reliability Test Automation suites;
  • Updating and maintaining reliability lab database and software;
  • Gathering and documenting requirements through consultation with users and developers;
  • Applying best practices from design through testing;
  • Solving complex problems;
  • Analyzing and characterizing failures;
  • Applying your knowledge in the following areas: object-oriented programming, code reuse, designing for test and support, etc.;
  • Assist with execution of component qualification verification tests (e.g., HAST);
  • Collect then analyze data and compare results with vendor submitted data. Prepare Reports
