  • First American’s Internship Program is a full-time, 10-12 week paid internship starting in June 2024. The Intern will work in a program designed to help college students gain experience and develop the technical, professional and interpersonal skills that will be invaluable throughout their career.
  • As a First American Intern you will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry—balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities—while under the close supervision and guidance of a manager and/or mentor.
  • The Project Management Office (PMO) is looking for an energetic, motivated, and dedicated Intern Project Coordinator/Manager with exceptional communication and writing skills to work alongside our Project Management Team on Information Technology (IT) related projects. We offer an opportunity to work in an enterprise environment focused on the achievement of managing and completing projects that align with our strategic goals and initiatives.


  • We are seeking College/University students enrolled in Bachelor’s degree programs with 0-2 years' of work experience. Preferred Field of Study in.... Computer Science, Business Development, Business Management or Information Systems.
  • A strong interest in Project Management as a career is preferred
  • Prior work experience in coordinating or managing projects is preferred
  • Provide assistance to Project Manager (PM) with project requirements, scope, scheduling, budget, risk management, quality assurance, and project status and health
  • Have an academic level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to actively listen, communicate in ways that foster trust and show flexibility.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment under deadline pressures.
  • Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, research, and multitasking skills.
  • High computer literacy
  • Perform other project management related task and other duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • To qualify, candidates will possess the following:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications and an understanding of the software development lifecycle

  • Assist in developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project completion.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and preparing meeting agendas to facilitate effective communication among project team members.
  • Track project progress by updating project management software and tools, ensuring milestones are met on schedule.
  • Compile and organize project documentation, ensuring all necessary materials are accessible for team members and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments for projects to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the project manager in liaising with external vendors and stakeholders to maintain communication and project alignment.
  • Analyze project data to prepare reports on project status, performance, and outcomes for internal review and stakeholder updates.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes by reviewing project deliverables and providing feedback to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.
