Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD in Computer Vision, Graphics, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
  • Interpersonal skills: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
  • Experience with computer vision, 3D geometry, character animation and/or linear algebra
  • 2+ years of experience with C, C++, and/or Python
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
  • 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following areas: developing models for physics-based simulation, MPM, 3D geometry reconstruction, non-rigid deformation, shape representation, numerical optimization, deep learning
  • 2+ years experience with character animation, perceptual evaluation and/or avatar evaluation
  • Proven track record of achieving results as demonstrated in accepted papers at top computer vision, graphics, machine learning or robotics related journals and conferences such as SIGGRAPH, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, etc

Responsibilities

  • Design and execution of algorithms
  • Investigate, design and develop novel algorithms in areas such as full body, cloth and hair modeling, simulation and animation, surface and volumetric reconstructions, for avatars, digital humans and virtual try-on applications.
  • Prototyping, building and analysis of experimental systems
  • Collaboration with and support of other researchers across various disciplines
  • Communication of research agenda, progress and results
