Responsibilities

  • As a Resident you’ll embed within our Research teams for six months.
  • During the six months, Residents work on real, cutting-edge AI problems under the guidance of an OpenAI Researcher who acts as their Mentor.
  • Residents are expected to ramp up over the six month program to become full time contributors.
  • Residents must be available to join OpenAI full-time after completing the Residency.
  • Residents must be extremely proficient in programming languages and software development.
  • Residents must be very comfortable with advanced math concepts in linear algebra, statistics, probability, and calculus.
