What licenses or certifications are needed for this job?
The incumbent must hold a Limited Mandatory Certificate issued by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care and must maintain this licensure throughout employment. Additionally, BLS certification is required.

What patient age groups will the Respiratory Care Student Practitioner work with?
The Respiratory Care Student Practitioner will work with pediatric (ages 13 months to 11 years), adolescent (ages 12 to 17), adult (ages 18 to 65), and geriatric (ages 66 and over) patients.

The incumbent should conduct themselves in a professional manner and be courteous to patients, physicians, visitors, and all other healthcare personnel.
