Description

  • As a Postdoctoral Scientist, you are expected to be proficient with standard molecular and cellular biology and immunology techniques. You will be able to plan and conduct experiments independently but in close cooperation and in consultation with the Principal Investigator, other Research Scientists and Research Team Members. You may also develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols. Curiosity, enthusiasm for discovery and team spirit are essential.


Requirements

  • Doctorate (MD, PhD, DVM, or DDS) in area directly related to field of research specialization.
  • A recent PhD or MD/PhD with experience in protein biochemistry or immunology is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Works independently on research projects designed by a mentor (typically the PI) within area of specialization.
  • Hands-on experience with fluorescence and confocal imaging, biochemistry, cellular immunology, molecular biology, cell culture, flow cytometry, gene expression, quantitative analysis, single cell RNAseq/ATACseq/bioinformatics analysis.
  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is required.
  • Acquires complete technical and theoretical knowledge of research project and objectives during one to five (1-5) year post-doctoral appointment.
