Requirements

  • You’ll need to have:
  • Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025 working a full-time schedule.
  • Current enrollment at Rutgers University in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree majoring in any Engineering discipline to include but not limited to Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related major with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
  • Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages.
  • Knowledge of system design and administration.
  • Knowledge of data mapping and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools, specifically Splunk, Tableau and/or Qlik Sense.
  • Knowledge in technical writing.
  • Knowledge of network and system automation design and implementation.
