What is the role of a Sales Trainee at Red Bull?
The Sales Trainee (ST) is a training role designed to prepare the individual for the Account Sales Manager role, supporting sales initiatives and providing coverage for the ASM during absences.
Will I be able to interview for other roles after the training?
Yes, upon successful completion of the training program, the Sales Trainee is eligible to interview for open Account Sales Manager roles.
How long can I remain in the Sales Trainee role?
The Sales Trainee can remain in the role for up to 12 months upon completion of the training program, if no Account Sales Manager or qualified role is available and performance standards are met.
Is this position at-will?
Yes, the Sales Trainee role is an at-will position, meaning either the Company or the Sales Trainee can terminate the employment relationship at any time, for any reason or no reason at all.
What qualifications are needed for this position?
A valid US Driver’s License, obtaining a DOT Medical card, being at least 21 years of age, and experience in customer service and sales are preferred qualifications. Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds is also required.
Is prior experience necessary for this role?
While experience in customer service and sales is a plus, it is not strictly necessary for the Sales Trainee position.
What kind of training will I receive?
The Sales Trainee will gain knowledge about Red Bull and its distribution process, as well as training on sales techniques and customer relationships.
Will I receive any additional support in my role?
Yes, the Sales Trainee will support the team with audits, blitz events, building displays, and merchandising to effectively drive sales.
Are there any age requirements for this position?
Yes, applicants must be at least 21 years of age to qualify for the Sales Trainee role.
