  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
  • Previous internship experience
  • Experience in Java development
  • Experience working with Python
  • Experience in development environments such as Git CI/DevOps tools
  • Activities related to leadership, community involvement, volunteering or teaming are an asset
  • Knowledge of Agile for software engineering
  • Graduates are ineligible unless continuing in post graduate studies

Responsibilities

  • Software Development: This includes designing, coding, debugging, and testing software applications.
  • Collaborating with the project stakeholders and scrum teams: Working closely with teams to understand requirements, contribute to discussions, present and demo any assigned work and provide input on technical solutions.
  • Learning and applying programming languages and technologies: This may involve learning new programming languages, understanding existing codebases, and adapting to different development environments.
  • Keeping up with industry trends and best practices: This may involve self-learning, attending training sessions, or participating in knowledge-sharing activities within the team.
  • Adhering to project timelines and deliverables: Management of assigned tasks and delivery of work within the agreed-upon timelines, including, communicating any challenges or roadblocks to your supervisor and seeking guidance when needed.
