What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is a 13-month placement starting in summer 2025.
What qualifications are required to apply for this internship?
You must be currently studying for a degree in a STEM subject (Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical, or similar) that accommodates a Year in Industry, and have an interest in building a career in Systems Engineering.
When is the closing date for applications?
The closing date for applications is 9th February 2025.
Where will the interviews take place?
Interviews will be conducted in person at our Witney site.
What projects will I be working on during the internship?
You will be working on impactful projects related to software systems to support the manufacture and testing of ADC's FreeStyle Libre glucose monitoring devices.
Is experience in a highly regulated environment required?
While previous experience is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. However, you should be prepared to deliver tasks in a highly regulated medical device environment.
Will I have access to senior leadership during my internship?
Yes, you will have regular access to senior leadership, providing you with opportunities to learn and grow from experienced professionals.

Are there specific areas of technology I will be exposed to during the internship?
Yes, you will be exposed to areas including Computerised System Validation, Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, Machine Learning, AI algorithm design, cloud architecture, data migration, automated software testing, and cybersecurity.
Do I need to submit a cover letter along with my CV?
Yes, applicants are required to submit their CV (including grades) and a cover letter.
