Requirements

  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s, or working towards master’s, degree program in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting functions, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Knowledge of TM1, PeopleSoft, Cognos, Alteryx, a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively within a diverse, multicultural team.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate premium adjustments and communicate allocations to regions.
  • Prepare Profit Commission allocations across participating international countries.
  • Perform assigned SOX control activities (monthly/quarterly/annually).
  • Reinsurance contract review to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Prepare manual journal entries.
  • Support the reinsurance FP&A process.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, including process improvements, system implementations, and data analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize the use of reinsurance software systems and tools, learning how to leverage technology for efficient operations.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to further develop your knowledge of reinsurance operations and software reporting tools.
