  • Experience with water/wastewater facility and/or heavy industrial structural analysis and design

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards, and facilitating coordination for timely completion and submission of projects on time and budget.
  • Working independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to accommodate collaboration with team members across the U.S. and internationally.
  • Learning and using digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery including configuration and deployment of SharePoint and Building Information Modeling (BIMAs a Structural Engineer Intern, you will work on water/ wastewater design engineering and construction projects; including production of design calculations, technical reports, permitting, detailed design and engineering plans and specifications for Water / Wastewater projects including; plant upgrades, storage facilities, pipelines, storm water systems, pump stations, and distribution / collection systems. You will organize and conduct structural related engineering investigations, calculations, and planning work which has a well-defined scope. Working effectively in team situations and establishing strong relationships within Arcadis to serve our clients most effectively, where overlap of client projects exists will be key in this role.
  • You will also:
  • Work directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office / project staff, client and sub-contractors, throughout the project life cycle
  • Manage time and ensure timely delivery of engineering and construction drawings and specifications for projects
  • Facilitate coordination for timely completion and submission of projects
  • Take direction from Task Manager or Project Engineer on projects to manage related budgets and schedules, and assists with the development and management of plans, permit checklists, and scopes of work
  • Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards..
