Responsibilities

  • The SM will help supervise our team of Summer Conference Assistants
  • The SM will learn about and help manage the full cycle of a Summer Conference including sale, detailing, preparation, and execution of the event
  • The SM will learn the basics of housing administration management for Summer Conferences
  • The SM will demonstrate adherence to the mission of Events and Conferences and the values of the Office of Student Life and The Ohio State University
  • The SM will participate in the Student Manager on-call rotation for Student Life Events and Conferences
  • The SM will build relationships across the Office of Student Life and collaborate with partners to deliver an outstanding experience for clients
  • The SM will develop a thorough understanding of all the partnerships involved in a successful fully integrated Event Management Operation
  • The SM will work on special projects as assigned by the Assistant Director of Sales
  • The SM may support work of the full-time Event Coordinators in the Office of Student Life Events and Conferences
  • THE SM will interact with Student Life Events and Conferences Customers through all communication channels and will
