  • Working towards a minimum of a 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Management

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of processes and data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Progress our Lean initiatives by driving out wastes in our processes.
  • Use of a variety of continuous improvement (Lean) initiatives and projects including, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, Kaizen events and project management.
  • Develop tools to standardize workplace organisation & visual management.
  • Use creative problem solving to deliver quality improvements to achieve ‘Right First Time’ standards.
  • Optimise material flow, process flow, and layouts using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Interface with the various department functions to ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
  • Assist in the organisation and facilitation of meetings, workshops and events
  • Support key business projects.
