Experience using SolidWorks CAD/CAM
Working towards a minimum of a 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Management

Responsibilities

Analysis of processes and data to identify improvement opportunities.
Progress our Lean initiatives by driving out wastes in our processes.
Use of a variety of continuous improvement (Lean) initiatives and projects including, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, Kaizen events and project management.
Develop tools to standardize workplace organisation & visual management.
Use creative problem solving to deliver quality improvements to achieve ‘Right First Time’ standards.
Optimise material flow, process flow, and layouts using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
Interface with the various department functions to ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
Assist in the organisation and facilitation of meetings, workshops and events
Support key business projects.
