What is the duration of the placement?
The placement is a temporary training contract from January to December 2025.

Yes, the Barbour Student Placement Programme is a paid placement.
What kind of experience will I gain during this placement?
During the placement, students will become an integral part of the Womenswear Design & Development Clothing team, tackling business challenges, contributing to company growth, and developing skills that will benefit their careers.
Where is the placement located?
The placement is based in the Barbour Head Office in South Shields.
What qualifications are required to apply for this placement?
You must be currently studying an Undergraduate Sandwich Degree Course and able to undertake 12 months in industry as part of your course.
What software skills are expected for this position?
A working knowledge of CAD, Illustrator, Prezi, and Photoshop is required.
