Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university
  • Completed at least 60 credit hours
  • Minimum of 2.8 GPA
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with engineers in a collaborative environment​
  • Requisition Preferences:
  • Requires a HS diploma or its equivalent and enrolled in a related Engineering Degree Program at an accredited College or University
  • Digital image processing preferred.
  • Lab experience preferred. ​

Responsibilities

  • Perform test functions supporting dust mitigation for Gateway Passive Thermal Control Systems.
  • Support test plan, procedure and execution.
  • Perform optical property and mass measurements both pre and post-test.
  • Perform analysis from test data and develop report.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Work in a team environment, and report to project lead or project manager for technical support, task assignment, and processes.
  • Interact with other NASA and JETS teams and departments
  • Perform other duties as required.
