Requirements

  • Current student pursuing a BS or MS degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, or related degree
  • Graduation date of August 2024 or later
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong writing ability and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Basic experience using MS Office, thematic mapping/spatial analysis with GIS, social media
  • Excellent time management and prioritization capabilities
  • Student organizational involvement

Responsibilities

  • Work in a collaborative environment as part of a multi-discipline team
  • Learn and apply knowledge, data and analysis contributing to transportation planning studies such as: multimodal network planning, smart mobility, alternatives and feasibility analyses, policy development, transportation infrastructure funding and implementation, and general traffic operations
  • Manage personal timeliness and technical correctness of a project to ensure high-quality work that fits within a client’s budget and expectations
