Requirements

For the Pricing and Actuary Internship Program, we consider currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.3. We value candidates with a strong aptitude for analytical reasoning and technical skills, as well as intellectual curiosity, and interest in Analytics. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative and interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and team collaboration. Additionally, we look for the following attributes:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.3
Strong academic background, preferably in a STEM major
Relevant internship experience preferred
Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Coding skills in languages such as SQL, R and Python, with related project work
Eligible candidates must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without restriction

Responsibilities

On-the-Job-Learning:
Participants primary duties will be to assist Senior Actuaries in the department with pricing and research. This will include help with line of business studies, individual account pricing and general reporting requirements.
Activities, Learning and Development:
Throughout the program, Interns will have the opportunity to hear from executive leaders, participate in structured, engaging leadership learnings, participate in networking events and activities with peers, members of our Executive team and outside brokerage firms, and be part of a project to present to their manager and mentor.
