Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or progress being made toward a degree) in Communications, Journalism, English, PR or related field.
  • 0-2 years’ experience in business writing and editing such as newspaper, magazine, website and/or corporate communications.
  • 0-2 years’ experience working in a fast paced, high-volume Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Relations function.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Source, write, edit, and distribute communications initiatives supporting our change & communications strategy. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and insights, transforming them into coherent and compelling narratives.
  • Executive Communications: Support executive communication requests, including delivering team meeting materials, written executive communications, and other critical deliverables as they relate to program communications.
  • All Team Meeting Support: Help craft and communicate materials for quarterly program team meeting and serve as onsite liaison for transformation events (when required).
  • Communication Channel Management: Partner with program channel leads to maintain various communications channels, including Teams and internal websites, ensuring visibility for program initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
