Responsibilities

  • Learn Payroll Processes: You'll gain an understanding of how the Payroll functions impact Dow Jones and its shared services, which will help you see the big picture of Payroll
  • Assist in processing payroll by collecting, verifying, and inputting employee data.
  • Maintain and update payroll records
  • Help resolve payroll discrepancies by investigating and correcting any inconsistencies.
  • Assist with the Payroll data reconciliations.
  • Assist in responding to employee payroll-related inquiries via SOFI
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to payroll processing.
  • Clean up and Archive the email inbox and Payroll drive
  • Process Improvement and Automation: You'll contribute to brainstorming sessions to improve current processes and identify opportunities for automation.
