Requirements

  • Working towards a degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science/Math/Statistics)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio
  • Technical knowledge on SQL or SAS or Python (Enterprise Guide/SAS Studio/Jupyter Notebook)
  • Strong business acumen and analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and ability to conceptualize strategy
  • Attention to detail, organization, ability to multi-task and time management is critical
  • Relevant experience in marketing or financial reporting
  • Experience in financial services industry with broad understanding of marketing, product management, sales, finance, pricing and risk management

Responsibilities

  • Develop CRM and campaign reports using Tableau and programming languages such as SQL, SAS and Python required for Canadian Banking and Insurance to meet business and financial imperatives
  • Participate in requirement and campaign design meetings to identify success criteria and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measurement
  • Work with CRM Data Enablement & Reporting team members on report automation and streamline existing reporting processes
  • Explore and integrate Google Analytics data via tools such as Starburst Trino to new and existing campaign dashboards to measure effectiveness of RBC’s online and mobile channels
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure reporting is developed accurately and on time
  • Regular maintenance of web based report repository to ensure report and dashboard links are updated and new contents are uploaded
