You must be a full-time college student pursuing a degree in IT or related field with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, willing to learn and take on progressively responsible duties for desktop support at Orange County Transportation Authority.

You will provide desktop support for OCTA staff, resolving hardware and software issues, assisting with Office 365 tools, and configuring new computers, monitors, and printers.

You will gain real world work experience on meaningful projects under the guidance of transportation professional. You will have the opportunity to use problem solving, communication and decision-making skills as you gain valuable work experience.</li><li>As a Summer College Intern, you will be exposed to OCTA's career opportunities in the transportation industry. You will gain deeper awareness of transportation's many facets through your OCTA orientation, projects and teams, and internal networking.</li><li>Under direct supervision, students will perform a variety of professional, entry-level duties to obtain practical experience related to their major field of study and interest, and the sponsoring department's current business operations within OCTA and the Transportation Industry. Employment will be&nbsp;full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, for the duration of the ten-week program.</li><li>An internship in the Information Systems Desktop Support area offers an opportunity to participate in troubleshooting technical issues, provide customer service and enhance problem solving skills while working in medium sized Information Systems department.
