Requirements

Accepted degrees: Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
Qualifications & Experience:
You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject
You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)

Responsibilities

Our Mechanical Engineers / Building Services work extensively in a broad spectrum of UK and international projects within Mobility (Rail, Aviation, Highways). The Engineers have an important role in the design of systems with reduced embedded and operational carbon that can have positive impact on the environment and to improve living standards across the globe.
We are looking for enthusiastic individual pursuing Mechanical / Building Services Engineering as Summer intern within our Rail South MEP team in our London office. The opportunity will provide the successful candidate the basic understanding of the role of mechanical engineers in infrastructure and building projects, design and management of projects, understanding of building physics, basic understanding of the management structure of an infrastructure and railway projects and the importance of team working in an infrastructure project. The candidate will be expected to learn on the job proactively and be able to contribute to the tasks and activities assigned by the supervisor or team director for successful delivery of the project outcome.
