The intern may research survey-related documentation, including U.S.P.L.S. Corner Certificates, Deeds, Plats of Survey, Subdivision Plats, and highway plans from various agencies.
What is the duration of the internship?
The internship lasts from May to December, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
What academic qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates must have completed at least two years in engineering at an accredited four-year college or university and be eligible for junior status upon return to school.
Will the intern have opportunities to work with other teams?
Yes, the intern will have the opportunity to work with the Assistant District 1 Engineer and Design Team on project plans and reviews.
Is fieldwork a significant component of the internship?
Yes, the intern will participate in field exams/reviews and may review highway construction projects in the field.
