What is the duration of the Tax Assistant Internship?
The duration of the Tax Assistant Internship is six weeks, starting on 16 June 2025.

Yes, the internship is a paid program.
What areas of tax will I be able to learn about during the internship?
During the internship, you will gain exposure to various business areas within Team Tax, including VAT/Indirect Tax, Employer Solutions, Private Client Services, Corporate Tax, Innovation and Creative Sector Reliefs, Transfer Pricing, Capital Allowances, and Tax Investigations.
What qualifications are required to apply for the internship?
Applicants must be in at least their second year of university and have a minimum of 112 UCAS points from three A Levels or an equivalent Level 3 qualification, or 104 UCAS points from four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level), along with a predicted honours degree.
Are there opportunities for full-time employment after the internship?
Yes, successful interns may be given the opportunity to join RSM's graduate programme after the internship.
Is travel required during the internship?
Yes, interns must be willing to travel to other offices and potentially client sites as required.
When should I apply for the internship?
Applications should be submitted before the internship start date of 16 June 2025.
Are there any restrictions on who can apply for this internship?
Yes, due to changes in government policy, RSM only accepts applications from individuals with an existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK.
