What is the duration of the Tech Consultant Development Intern position?
The internship will begin on May 19, 2025, and conclude on August 8, 2025.
Where is the internship located?
This internship is an in-office role in our Austin, TX HUB.
What are the educational requirements for this internship?
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and completing their senior year by summer 2026, and must be returning to the bachelor’s degree program after completion of the internship.
What qualifications are preferred for this position?
Preferred qualifications include 2-3 years of computer science, technical, and/or engineering coursework, with a focus on Computer Science or Computer Engineering majors. Understanding of data management, data science, and AI is also preferred.
What skills are important for the Tech Consultant Development Intern role?
Important skills include strong communication abilities (both written and verbal), organizational and time management skills, problem-solving capabilities, critical thinking, and being goal-oriented.
Will I receive training during the internship?
Yes, interns will undergo a comprehensive training program that includes onboarding, job-specific training, and continuous learning throughout the summer.
Will I have a mentor during the internship?
Yes, interns will be assigned a peer mentor to help navigate the internship experience in addition to working with a direct supervisor.
Are interns considered Oracle employees?
Yes, interns are hired as Oracle Temporary employees, with assignments generally ranging from two weeks to six months.
