Responsibilities

  • This post will provide a wide range of training across patient imaging, radiopharmaceutical production and administration, along with Nuclear Medicine equipment operation and quality assurance programs.
  • The training programme that you will be completing has both academic components and a clinical workplace training component within the department eventually leading to a Post Graduate diploma in Nuclear Medicine.
  • The majority of the work within the training programme will include gaining experience and learning about the full range of equipment and techniques used in nuclear medicine.
  • Trainees will be rotated with different staff across our department in order to develop their ability to apply a range of analytical and clinical applications to clinical patient care.
