  • You will also be:
  • Comfortable will all aspects of experimental design, execution, and reporting results
  • Proficient with data analysis tools or programming languages to reduce and understand large datasets (ex. Excel, MATLAB, Python)
  • Experienced with test and measurement equipment
  • Hard working and motivated with minimal oversight
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering
  • Authorized to work in the USA
  • It Would Be Nice For You To Have Experience With:
  • Embedded Linux devices, such as Raspberry Pi
  • Designing and building prototypes utilizing methods including 3D printing, prototype PCB’s, and/or building custom wire harnesses

Responsibilities

  • Stanley Black & Decker is looking for a Test and Verification Intern to test and verify commercial power equipment products for autonomous and semi-autonomous operations. The ideal candidate will apply his/her skill and experiences to design and execute experiments to explore and quantify the capabilities and limitations of sensing systems, and will generate concise reports to summarize the findings.
