Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or other related program
Attention to detail a must
Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Proficiency in Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years completed toward degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry, with proficiency in Adobe Premier, After Effects or GIS is a plus

Responsibilities

In the role of Urban Design Intern, we'll count on you to perform tasks including but not limited to:
Conduct site analysis, GIS data collection and compilation, case studies, sketching, making diagrams and digital modeling.
Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an Urban Design Planner, Project Manager, or other professionals
Participate in the design process, and develop alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to client or for agency approval
Follow through on design development drawings and models, and collaborate with production staff for technical details and completion of construction drawings
Perform other duties as needed
