What is the duration of the Video Production Intern internship?
The internship will last approximately from January 2025 through June 2025.
What kind of tasks will the intern be responsible for?
The intern will assist with on-location camera and lighting setup for video shoots, post-production duties such as logging, tagging, archiving content, editing recorded dialogue, production music, sound effects, and graphics, and collaborating with team members and clients on video reviews and approvals.
Are specific software skills required for this internship?
Yes, experience with video post-production tools and software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is required.
What type of camera knowledge is needed for this role?
A strong knowledge of Canon's Mirror-less & Cinema line of cameras (such as the R5 and C300 MK III) and DJI Gimbal Systems or similar equipment is desired.
Is there a physical requirement for this position?
Yes, the intern should be able to meet physical demands for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
What is the education requirement for applicants?
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation, or have graduated within 6 months at the time of application. A degree in Video/Film, Digital Media, Motion Media, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
Will transportation be provided for interns?
Interns are responsible for providing their own reliable transportation to and from work.
Is there a requirement for an online portfolio?
Yes, an electronic online portfolio is required as part of the application process and must include videos the applicant has created, edited, and/or recorded.
Are there any age restrictions for applicants?
Yes, applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Can I apply if I've previously completed a Disney internship?
No, candidates may not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney Program.
