Requirements

  • Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong visual design background with some experience in video production.
  • Ability to absorb sophisticated information and translate it into engaging messages accessible to a wide audience.
  • Proven thoughtful design, typographic skills, color theory, and professional judgment in solving layout and hierarchy challenges.
  • A self-motivated and effective worker who can consistently go above and beyond to deliver high-quality materials in short timeframes.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience running social media accounts with timely, compelling, highly visual content.
  • Familiarity with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, Premier or Final Cut Pro editing, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and the creative process for photography.
  • Previous experience working in media relations or with a PR Agency (or related).
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) majoring in Graphic Design (or comparable major)
  • Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
  • Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the below requirements:
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within six months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement compelling graphics, presentations, videos, etc. for internal & external communications.
  • Help develop new ways of visualizing information to attract attention, convey intricate thoughts, or simplify sophisticated processes.
  • Deliver high-quality output with an eye for detail and audience engagement.
  • Actively engage with the team in brainstorming and contributing suggestions and ideas to help elevate overall communications.
