Requirements

  • Familiarity with animation industry and passion for animation
  • Knowledge of MAC, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop
  • Proficiency with FileMaker Pro
  • Proficiency with ToonBoom Storyboard Pro
  • Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance and filing procedures
  • Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage
  • Knowledge of report, letter, logs, etc. formats
  • Ability to organize and schedule work effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions

  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the production unit with various tasks
  • Audit the voiceover recording process, storyboard pitches, editing and artwork
  • Opportunity to meet the entire team, meeting with writers, directors, artists, producers, etc.
  • Help with design through Pro Tool and Page Number
  • Help with records weekly
  • Gain exposure to artists
  • Learn the entire production process all the way down the pipeline
  • Clerical and archiving work
  • Confirm information and artwork received by the studio and email confirmations
  • Organize out-going pre-production shipments to overseas studios
  • Prepare storyboards for animatic import
  • Handle interoffice deliveries and distribution
  • Under direction of managerial staff, assist with communications between management and crew
  • Additional administrative tasks as needed
