Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • You have strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft applications (especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
  • You are detail oriented.
  • You have customer service focus.
  • You have strong organizational skills.
  • You take initiative, work well with minimal direction and multi-task.
  • You have strong writing skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations.
  • Provide customer service in accordance with Scotia Service Standards.
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Provides exceptional customer service support on account opening related queries by remaining current and informed on existing and new industry regulations and firm policies and procedures.
  • Maintain client account integrity by performing sundry items as required.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Contribute to a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
  • Provide coverage and support for other members of the team when needed.
