Yes, students who complete the work experience may apply to the Inspire Student Ambassador programme, which offers further development of confidence, work readiness, and employability skills.
What is required to apply for the work experience placement?
To apply, candidates must register for the student platform Speedbird-Z, complete an "Intro to…" task for Engineering, and submit their application via the British Airways careers website, along with a pre-learning project.
Will I need consent from my school to attend the placement?
Yes, if successful in your application, you will be required to provide a school consent letter permitting your absence from school or college.
Can I apply for more than one work experience placement?
No, you can only apply for one programme and cannot complete more than one work experience placement.
