Requirements

  • Proficiency with Keynote and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Experience in both Windows and Mac environments, including Outlook and messaging.
  • A curiosity about content production
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Collaborative and flexible, with an ability to perform a wide range of tasks.
  • Detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow, with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with applications such as Adobe and/or Photoshop, Final Cut Pro.
  • EDUCATION:
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher, or have graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree majoring in Film, Television, Content Development, New Media, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS & PROGRAM INFORMATION:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through January 2025.
  • Must provide own housing for the duration of program in the Glendale, CA area.
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist development of the Broadcast Production Specials, from content through shoot productions, post, delivery and archiving, owning the content through each step of the process.
  • Assist in video pre-production, field production and post-production.
  • Support Project Management and Producers with scheduling, tracking and updating key projects.
  • Coordinate post-production efforts from editing and audio to compression and formatting.
  • Become familiar with our vast video clip library and source footage for productions.
  • Build presentation and pitch decks.
