Responsibilities

  • Work with buying to maximise commercial opportunities and minimise areas of risk by regularly reviewing performance and trends and re-planning accordingly.
  • Produce monthly stock and sales budgets for own department.
  • Forecast demand planning at sku level where necessary and provide timely and accurate forecasts for the season ahead.
  • Develop and agree activity plans with buying and marketing to achieve sales and profit targets and drive the correct department strategy.
  • Robust management of OTB with phased commitment to increase trading flexibility.
  • Work in close alignment with buying and supply to develop supplier relationships.
  • Analyse supplier delivery performance and work with the buyer and supply to take appropriate action.
  • Evaluate customer and market information to enhance and support department planning.
