Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, you may hold a college diploma or post graduate certificate in a STEM-related field, completed before the program start date and within three years before your application date.
  • You have less than three years of combined professional experience, excluding past internship experiences.
  • You are familiar with security device management like firewall, IPS, SIEM, IAM, PAM, EDR, WAF, etc.
  • You are curious about machine learning, artificial intelligence algorithms and data science.
  • You are interested in micro segmentation, security events monitoring, lifecycle and triage; threat detection and incident management.
  • You have various areas of expertise including:
  • Vulnerability management: vulnerability detection, security testing, penetration testing, risk analysis and vulnerability remediation
  • Governance risk compliance: evaluating security controls, providing advisory services, developing scorecards indicators (KPI/KRI) and reporting, exploring framework and standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, ITSG33 and PCI)
  • Cloud security: cloud architecture, gateways, private & public cloud (AWS, GCP & Azure), Kubernetes, dockers, cloud native protection platform, cloud security posture management and workload protection
  • You are familiar with scripting, coding and application security.
  • You are familiar with applications and systems maintenance including patching and knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Windows).
  • You are familiar with JIRA, Confluence and/or other tools for ticket tracking system and documentation.
  • You are a skilled communicator balancing urgency, empathy and integrity. You speak and write clearly and concisely, and you listen with the purpose of encouraging transparent dialogue.
