Responsibilities

  • Reconciling cash, credit cards and gift cards for the retail channel including investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Dealing with any retail accounting queries from the store managers and cooperating with Retail Operations to implement process improvements.
  • Ensuring all credit cards and Travel Expense reports are submitted on time, correctly coded and accompanied by relevant supporting documentation.
  • Being the first point of contact for any expense report queries, making sure all manuals and resources are up-to-date and supporting with the onboarding of new credit card and Concur users.
  • Support the team with month-end accounting activities including but not limited to posting accruals, monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Assist GL Lead with recording intercompany transactions, ASC842 lease accounting entries and posting monthly payroll journals.
  • Assist Tax and Compliance Lead with monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
  • Maintaining and updating lease, insurance and other schedules contracts database.
  • Assist the team with ongoing projects if required.
  • Filing, scanning, storing, and retrieving of all related financial documents in accordance with local rules, regulations, and company policies.
  • Ad hoc administrative duties to be performed as and when required.
  • Adhere to accounting principles and internal procedures.
