  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production/Post-Production, Graphic Design, Photography, or related field AND 5 years industry work experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • If Graphic Design: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • If Film: editing and post-production software.
  • If Photography: Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • An M.A. or M.F.A. related to either Film Production/Post-Production, Graphic Design, Photography or a related field.
  • In addition, at least two years of teaching experience and/or professional industry work experience.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will have experience and expertise in with video/film, graphic design, photography or motion graphics.
  • Reporting to the Chair, the instructor is responsible for teaching in their discipline as well as teach introductory courses in computers and design.
  • Other duties besides teaching include regular correspondence with the Chair and with the students, grading, creating course outlines and lesson plans for the classes, and other duties as assigned.
