What is the main responsibility of the Administration Assistant in the Pharmacy Homecare team?
The main responsibility is to manage prescription processing, including requesting and processing prescriptions from clinics, while also answering calls and emails from clinics, patients, and providers.
Is experience in homecare required for this position?
No, experience in homecare is not necessary. Enthusiasm for a new challenge and a willingness to learn are key.
What qualifications do I need to start in this role?
If you do not already hold the NVQ qualification Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, you must be willing to work towards it. You will start on Band 2 until you complete the qualification. If you already hold this qualification, you will start on Band 3.
Are there any working hours outside of normal weekdays?
Yes, you will be expected to participate in weekend, late duty, and bank holiday dispensary rotas.
