Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Education and Social Care Department. This will include monitoring student attendance.
  • Respond to all incoming inquiries promptly
  • Communicate with students and parents.
  • Maintain and organise documents, records, and relevant databases. Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of information for various administrative purposes
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Log procurement items for approval
  • Be the liaison between college departments for all administrative tasks
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are followed
  • To communicate effectively with all external stakeholders and provide accurate information
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders including academic staff so that they have accurate, detailed information for any Education and Social Care Activity
  • To maintain confidential data and undertake tasks relating to effectively managing and storing paper and electronic documentation.
  • To carry out data input, prepare reports, and carry out administrative work efficiently with high accuracy.
  • To carry out all administrative duties related to meetings as required.
  • Work under own initiative, prioritise own workload, and take decisions concerning established practices, referring only problems of a non-routine nature to other teams
