  • We are looking for a detail-oriented administrative assistant to support executive assistants (EAs) and help coordinate various events as well as meetings within our Point72 office in New York, NY.

Requirements

  • 0-1+ years’ experience in a reception or administrative role
  • Capacity to multitask, effectively prioritize and adapt to an ever-changing work environment
  • Bring a “roll up your sleeves and get the work done” mentality and a sense of urgency and attention to detail to requests and projects
  • Excellent communication and ability to interact with people of all levels in a confident and professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail; can keep track of multiple projects and work through abstract issues in an organized and efficient manner

Responsibilities

  • The junior administrative assistant will provide general support to two to three EAs. Specifically, you will:
  • Partner with EAs to help alleviate workload and create efficiencies:
  • Assist with calendar management, conference room booking, and meeting coordination
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Create and process expense reports
  • Provide coverage for miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed
  • Manage event logistics from start to finish:
  • Set dates, book conference rooms, order catering
  • Coordinate with facilities team on room set up and AV needs
  • Make restaurant reservations as needed
  • Post events to firm calendar
  • Handle attendee logistics:
  • Create and monitor RSVP forms
  • Manage waitlists and confirm attendance
  • Greet attendees and take attendance at events as needed
