Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily workflow of Human Resources within the Elections Department by handling requests that are received via telephone calls and in-person visits. This includes but is not limited to: badge, key, alarm code, and Metro card requests; direct deposit, address, beneficiary and insurance changes.
  • Support and assist management in the recruiting and hiring process. This includes but is not limited to job postings, reviewing and forwarding applications to management, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks and coordinating drug screenings.
  • Assist and process time sheets for temporary employees.
  • Assist and process payroll for Election Workers.
  • Assist election staff with various tasks as needed.
