Responsibilities

  • To ensure the provision of a professional and efficient and confidential administration service and a high standard of customer care.
  • Provide information to patients, staff, carers, relatives, G.Ps and Community Mental Health Teams, relating to appointments, patient care, service pathways and meetings. This should be done alongside the maintenance of computer systems, spreadsheets and databases that are required by the team.
  • The role also requires the sharing reception duties, using sound communication skills, sometimes being required to respond calmly to challenging or aggressive communication from patients.
  • You will also transcribe audio using Winscribe, requiring long periods of concentration, as well as recording and transcribing minutes /notes from meetings in addition to assisting with audits and surveys.
