What is the primary role of the Airport Paramedic?
The primary role of the Airport Paramedic involves working on a Special Response Vehicle (SRV) at Gatwick Airport and undertaking double crewed ambulance shifts out of the Gatwick make ready centre.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Applicants must hold a BTECH Level 4, DipHE, FdSc, or BSc award in Paramedic Science or Practice, be eligible for registration with the HCPC, and have a Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving as well as a C1 Licence.
Is prior experience required for this role?
Yes, we are looking for Experienced Paramedics who have a strong knowledge of pre-hospital care.
