Responsibilities

  • To provide guidance and advice to units within LONDIST and the Chain of Command (CoC) on matters relating to both Warning Sanction and Service Law and the Service Complaints process.
  • To ensure all discipline and Service Complaint matters are expedited in line with both policy and procedure, and within the prescribed timeframes and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Engagement with all units and the Chain of Command regarding discipline and Service Complaint matters.
  • Be the point of contact in terms of discipline and Service Complaints.
  • Ensuring robust assurance and compliance of casework is conducted regularly. Complete the monthly assurances required at the end of each month.
  • Ensuring changes to policy and guidance are promulgated throughout.
  • Provide high quality stats and trend analysis regarding discipline within the District to assist the CoC in understanding current themes and issues.
  • Report high-profile matters as a matter of priority to the CoC and all relevant parties, ensuring such matter are robustly tracked and monitored accordingly.
